I came yesterday evening to riyadh and I cudnt see much from this big city. The queue was so big at the passport control and after making it one guy came and asked me if am looking for a taxi so I went with him in his pickup lol .. I don’t what taxi he meant anyway I had the address and when we came near the compound I talked to my colleague to give more details to the driver. The guys my colleagues at the compound were good, they gave me water and my blanket and stuff and then I saw my room and it was really good and this was a good surprise for me.. I was shocked when I turned on the TV and saw porn on the TV. I did not expect that at all lol.. I talked to my family and to be honest I wasn’t feeling much lonely, I only wanted to speak to my friend in doha however I didn’t know if that person was awake or not coz it was a late and therefore I didn’t want to bother that person. I wanted to send a message to that person but the surprise was that neither my qatari number nor my saudi one were sending messages! I asked the guys the other day and they said that it is normal hehehhe and that s not a problem coz for other people their line goes off every morning! I don’t know but it is funny how nothing works completely perfect.
The very very very good thing is that I will be in beirut for adha J so I don’t feel that it is big challenge for me to last here… so am patient..
My two cousins are here and I will meet them later maybe one of them today so things are going fine iA. I missing a lot my friends in Doha, more here than when I was in beirut. When I first came here to the office, no desk no internet as the connection is really bad, I knew that I wont be having an office directly coz they told me that, and some of my colleagues have the same case but we have to wait for a while..
Anyway, when I first came to office, I really wanted to go back to doha, I miss it a lot, it is not easy to adapt here, new city, new colleagues, new people, totally new enviroment I donno but I think I need time. The main problem is that my colleagues’ style of living it totally different than mine, what I mean for example they like drinking and I don’t they like to do stuff that I don’t do, they are nice people but not my style..lol .. it is almost noon here and still nothing to do, good I managed to have an internet connection, the problem is that the socket is british standard I guess and I don’t have a convertible so I will what will happen later, I will try to steal one as I only have one hour left for my battery to die and and around 5 hours to leave the office..
Ohhh guess what…my duty is ends at 4 pm here LOL … which is amazing but I don’t know what to do after 4 this is the big question.
Am back after lunch, and I even had breakfast today, good we have a cafeteria here! Anyway, I stole the convertible, and am recharging my laptop.. the only problem is that I still cant download msn messenger, I donno why, either the connection is very slow or the memory there is something wrong , I better try to turn off the anti virus for a while..
