well before i start i just forgot to tell u that like when i waas flying to doha on march 2009 there was a really big sandstorm here .. what happened exactly is that i came from beirut on monday evening .. and the next day .. tuesday i had a fligh at noon time from riyadh to doha .. thru bahrain..
i took a taxi and all was fine.. the taxi dropped me at RUH and after check-in n stamping the passport i went to the coffee shop and i cudnt see anytjing from the window! .. yes .. a sandstorm just appeared.. so in other words it took 5 or 10 min to make a sandstorm n to cover all the city.. unbelievable... i cudnt belive how i was just outside and came in and suddenly a sandstorm!! it was the biggest once since like 100 year! . i knew that the flight was going to be delayed but not for 10 hours!! yes i waited 10 hours at the airpots :( .. was really tough .. i wanted to go back home but they told that hte plane cud take off in any hour .. they kept saying that every hour lol .. instead of reaching doha like 7 pm .. i was there around 2 30 am .. lol ..
anyway .. i can say with full convidence that this is my best time in riyadh social wise.. after moving to a new and nice very nice appartemnt .. we r having a lot of fun .. especially with out neighbours.. so even if we stay home n not go out we have many things we can ... we r like 5 people together.. the only bad thing is tht other neighbours are complaning from the noise we re doing :) .. hmm htey are rite .. coz like when we play fifa 09 .. we shout a lot .. especially me as i get excited a lot ... my close frds who played with knows me very well and tey will understand what am talking about ..
i had a business trip 10 days ago n it was tiring but fun.. the city where we went was really really beautiful.. amazing.. i was totally shocked actudally.. anyway .. ramadan will start soon .. so i better start gettign ready .. plus am traveling in like 3 weeks from now :) .. hA i am doing a lot of traveling this year .. which is a good thing .. i like traveling a lot and it s like a fresh air for me ..
one more thing .. fantasy football is starting today :) last year i was unfortunate not to win .. u know when losing sth at the last minute ? yes this what happened to me last year .. i lead for like 28 weeks in a row but then i lost my 1st place :) .. it s only a game i know but because of the big challenge with the others and because it wa my 1st year i really wanted to win.. but i just lost .. i came 2nd acutally so it isnt a bad result :S .. but for me it was like a failure .. u get really attached to this game especially if ur doing well.. u just get bored at the end .. it is so so long .. that s the thing so u need to be patient..
i had like a little fight with a saudi colleague last week. he is not professional at all but i knew how to deal with him . .i just showed him by an email how he doest know to work in front of many ppl.. but u know this guy can be dangerous to me so we had a little chat after n supposedly the issue btw us is over ...
yalla am going for lunch now .. 1 big roast beef please!
